Cela concerne en particulier le gavage de canards en vue de la production de foie gras.<\/p>\n<h3>Une v\u00e9ritable torture<\/h3>\n<p>Selon une \u00e9tude, command\u00e9e par une association de la protection animal, plus de 84% des Belges sont en faveur de l&rsquo;interdiction du gavage des animaux. Sur base de diff\u00e9rentes analyses d&rsquo;experts, on peut affirmer que ce syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;\u00e9levage porte gravement atteinte au bien-\u00eatre animal.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>Cela constitue v\u00e9ritablement une sorte de torture impos\u00e9e aux canards et nous ne pouvons gu\u00e8re le tol\u00e9rer\u00a0\u00bb, <\/em>pr\u00e9cise Bianca Debaets, la secr\u00e9taire d&rsquo;\u00c9tat bruxelloise en charge du Bien-\u00eatre animal, <em>et cela m\u00eame au d\u00e9triment d&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eats \u00e9conomiques ou d&rsquo;habitudes de consommation que certains mettent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement en avant<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, ajoute-t-elle.<\/p>\n<h3>Aucun producteur en R\u00e9gion bruxelloise<\/h3>\n<p>La Belgique est l&rsquo;un des cinq pays producteurs de foie gras avec la France, l&rsquo;Espagne, la Bulgarie et la Hongrie. Mais jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent aucun producteur n&rsquo;\u00e9tait enregistr\u00e9 en R\u00e9gion bruxelloise.
