(Suppression des Exp\u00e9riences sur l\u2019Animal) \u00e9taient pr\u00e9sents lors du symposium de BCLAS qui r\u00e9unissait des partisans et acteurs de l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation animale belges et \u00e9trangers \u00e0 l&rsquo;U NAMUR.<br \/>\nNous \u00e9tions l\u00e0 pour d\u00e9noncer les tortures inflig\u00e9es aux animaux dans les laboratoires, l\u2019absence de contr\u00f4les r\u00e9els ainsi que les lacunes de la loi (commissions d\u2019\u00e9thique et comit\u00e9 wallon pour la protection des animaux dans les labos compos\u00e9s d\u2019exp\u00e9rimentateurs sur animaux, contr\u00f4les annonc\u00e9s).<br \/>\nEn Belgique, des souris et des rats, rendus d\u00e9pendants aux drogues, sont tenus d\u2019effectuer des parcours qui permettraient de \u00ab constater que la d\u00e9pendance aux drogues affecte les capacit\u00e9s d\u2019apprentissage \u00bb, des souris sont gav\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019alcool, sont plong\u00e9es dans des r\u00e9cipients remplis d\u2019eau pour des tests de nage forc\u00e9e \u00ab afin de les rendre d\u00e9pressives \u00bb, des caries sont provoqu\u00e9es chez des souris, d\u2019autres sont rendues aveugles, des rats et des souris sont expos\u00e9s aux fum\u00e9es de tabac, des canaris subissent une ablation de parties du cerveau \u00ab\u00a0pour \u00e9tudier l&rsquo;impact des l\u00e9sions sur leur chant\u00a0\u00bb, des souris sont soumises \u00e0 des chocs \u00e9lectriques, d\u2019autres sont mises \u00e0 mort \u00ab pour \u00e9tudier leurs pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences sexuelles \u00bb<br \/>\nDe fa\u00e7on plus g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, l\u2019augmentation du nombre d\u2019animaux sacrifi\u00e9s dans les laboratoires belges en 2023  va \u00e0 l\u2019encontre du principe de r\u00e9duction inscrit dans la directive 2010\/63\/UE qui pr\u00e9voit express\u00e9ment que \u00ab les \u00c9tats membres veillent \u00e0 ce que le nombre d\u2019animaux utilis\u00e9s dans un projet soit r\u00e9duit au minimum \u00bb.
